Product Overview

  • The lightest handheld slit lamp*1 in the Kowa SL series, with longer operating time.
  • The SL-19 weighs 620 g and provides easy and versatile operation.
  • Choice of 10× and 16× magnifications and 3 slit widths (0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.8 mm).
  • Variable-controlled LED light source from 200 to 20,000 lux, with a 3-step background light and a 3-step blue illumination light.
  • The LED light source provides a much whiter light than ordinary halogen sources found on traditional instruments.
  • Compact and portable — ideal for field evaluations, pediatrics, and patients unable to be imaged by a traditional slit lamp.
  • Especially useful in emergency rooms where patient mobility is a challenge, or when switching between consultancy rooms is necessary.
  • Cordless operation — powered by 3 AA rechargeable or dry-cell batteries for long-lasting, continuous operation of the bright LED lamp.

Kowa-Specific Return Policy

Any return of a purchased product is within the sole discretion of Kowa/AccuSpire. Please review the following terms carefully before purchase.

RMA Number Required

Dealers must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from AccuSpire prior to any return. Any and all returns without an RMA number will be refused.

Restocking Fees

WITHIN 30 DAYS OF SHIPMENT
15% Minimum
All accepted returns on Kowa products are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (manufacturer policy).
AFTER 30 DAYS
40% Fee
Return requests after the first 30 days from the date an order is shipped are subject to a 40% restocking fee.
90-Day Return Window

Valid returns are subject to approval within 90 days from the original purchase date. Kowa will not accept return items after 90 days from the original purchase date.

Packaging & Shipping Requirements

  • All returned merchandise must be properly packed in its original package.
  • Returns must be shipped prepaid to Kowa.
  • A copy of the original invoice must accompany the shipment.

What Will Not Be Accepted

  • Discontinued, obsolete, used, or damaged products will not be accepted for return under any circumstances.
  • Items supplied by special order will not be accepted for return.

In addition to the restocking fee, Kowa may, at its sole discretion, charge a repackaging fee if returned products appear used and are unable to be directly resold.
