The Barraquer and Micro Needle Holders have fine tapered jaws while the Castroviejo Needle Holders have slightly wider jaws for larger needles.

RUMEX needle holders can be used for suturing and cutting as well.

RUMEX produces needle holders containing either a Tungsten Carbide insert or with Tungsten Carbide coating to stop the needle from slipping.

The Inserts are diamond lapped on the reverse side to specified thickness and this guarantees a chemically clean surface, ready for brazing the instrument.
